Poor Lexi..... So last night was their cousins (Alexis and Luke) birthday party, and they were having a BBQ for Grandmas birthday as well. I wasnt there but as it was reported to me, Lexis cousins wanted her to sit with them to eat dinner and so they plopped her down in a spot to sit and within a couple minutes they all realized that was a big mistake. She was covered in little black ants. They had sat her down right on top of an ant hill, and the ants didnt take kindly to her home invasion. Brandon came to her rescue as he heard her screaming in terror and pain. They managed to get them all off, but not before they took about 30 bites out of her poor legs. After mommy got home from her meeting we treated the bites..... here was the results.
So we learned a valuable lesson here, look before you sit. They did seem to have a good time despite the incident, and at least Lexi had a sleepover that was a blast prior to the horrifying event, So the whole weekend wasnt a loss. She will recover and we will move on to the next crazy moment on this journey we call life. Who ever said "kids are an adventure" wasnt exaggerating.
