So as promised here are the stories and pics. This was a funfilled packed day. Yesterday morning we got up and had to get some laundry and last minute stuff together for the BIG day. The pills must be doing something right (even though he hadnt started taking them during the day, today was the first day for that) because this was the first day in a long long time that Sean and Lexi were actually able to play together for hours without fighting. They were laughing and getting along beautifully all morning.
Then it came time for the Big moment. We all got dressed in our Sunday best and headed for the church. They sized up the boys and gave them their baptismal clothes and then it was off to their own private dressing room. Sean thought that was pretty cool, it had his last name on the door. They looked so cute.
Aunt Debi, Uncle Daniel, Uncle Adam, Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Michael all arrived soon after. Followed shortly by the Doucet Clan. And last but not least Aunt Lola with Connor and Rachel. Thanks to Aunt Debi for bringing her camera, she was a life saver.
Then we all sat down in the chapel with the other 5 children who were being baptised yesterday. We sang and prayed and then listened to two speakers, the first one was the Uncle to the only little girl who was getting baptised and he talked to the kids about baptism, why it was so important and what it meant. Then it was time for the Stake Primary President to speak to them. She talked to them about them being made clean, about what that means and how they would learn as they got older what it really means. She told them a story about her 3 year old thinking that getting baptised meant that you were waching real dirt off and how for now it was ok to think of it like that because if we think of our sins as dirt that is what it really is. The kids kind of giggled at that. Then it was time for the baptisms. Our ward was last but the time seemed to fly by. There were 3 kids in our ward, a set of twins and then Sean. We let them go first. They are the babies of their family and have had 4 siblings baptised before them and their dad still seemed very nervous. I think that helped Brandon not to be as nervous. This was Brandons first ever baptism to perform. I think that made this day so much more special for all involved. He was so nervous and stumbled over his words a little, but it was still so precious. Of course Sean made everyone laugh. When he first got in the font he screamed out "why does this water have to be so hot". Suprisingly enough he sat very still during the baptism and didnt fight Brandon when he had to dunk him under (despite him being afraid of water). Once he was out of the water and heading up the stairs he saw his friends who were baptised right before him standing at that top, they had wanted to watch him get baptised as well. He screamed out something to them about not being able to breathe down there and everyone once again laughed. He apparently had unplugged his nose while he was under the water and he breathed in some water so he had to make a comment about that. It was cute and made his experience very memorable. Gotta love him. Then it was time to change (and of course go potty, because thats what warm water does to you, if you know Sean there is always an excuse for a potty break.... lol). After that we met in the Primary Room with all our family and the Edwards family as well. The Bishop was there along with the kids primary teachers Bro. and Sis. Sirrine, the Primary President Sis Tenney, and her counselor Sis Hudson (who is the kids friend Andrews mommy). Having them be able to be there made it very special as well. With the Edwards family all living out of state the room was filled with faces of our loved ones who were there to support Sean but were very proud of the twins as well. Grandpa Blaylock gave the Holy Ghost talk which was a very special moment for him to be speaking at his first grandchilds baptism, and then it was time for the confirmations. Seans was first. As expected he got up really silly, but he sat very still through the entire blessing, and then got up and ran to his seat. They had to remind him to shake hands with all his Uncles, and with Bishop, Grandpa and Daddy. He of course managed to trip over the chair on his way to do that and almost fell flat on his face. Every day with that child is such an adventure : ). Then the Bishop spoke to the kids, he talked about how even though it is the same ordinance being performed every baptism is such a unique experience, and then he looked at Sean and smiled. I dont think anyone will forget this day. They ended the day by having the Primary President say a few words to them about what the rest of their lives have to hold for them, she told them not to forget to write down something about what they remember felling about the day so that they would have that to keep with them forever. Then she had brought a picture frame and a mat so that everyone that was there could sign it, and it could be used to help remember the day. I thought that was so sweet.
After that was all over, we went home to change clothes and then met up with Grandpa and the gang and had dinner. Grandpa treated us all to Panda Express. Sean loved it, being able to be with his family and going out to eat are two of his favorite things to do.

Then we had about 40 minutes to kill so we went home and broke out one of our favorite cds for this time of year, it has songs from one of our favorite Christmas Musicals (Forgotten Carols) and we had a family sing along just me and Brandon and the kids.

Then it was time to go to Aunt Debis dance concert. We went with the Blaylock gang again. It was fun, the kids seemed to enjoy all the music. Sean had taken his pill before we left, so by the time that the intermission came along he was ready for bed. We wanted to stay because she was in another dance so we propped him in his chair with sweatshirts and covered him in grandmas sweater. He was sleeping soundly til they started the music up again. Then he was awake but whiny. That is until he heard one of his favorite songs from Tarzan and then that was it he was wide awake. She did amazing in her dances, we always love watching Aunt Debi perform.
Then after a long day it was time to come home and hit the sack. Some cold medicine, warm jammies, last drinks and hugs and kisses and everyone was out cold.
It was an awesome day that I dont think we will ever forget. I hope with my incredibly long story that if you werent there with us you feel like you were, and if you were that it helps bring happy memories.
Loves to you all XOXOXOXOXOX
Have a Great Sunday!!!!!!
