I cannot believe that a whole month has flewn by already. Its been a crazy month. Wrapping up the end of the year at school. We really have been SO crazy busy that not allot of FUN things have gone on. The kids did have an end of the year concert, I was manning the Book Fair that night and forgot my camera, Lexi was adorable as usual but Sean had stayed home with the flu. We have had a couple of family parties, but again..... no pictures to share : (. Mothers Day was fabulous. Other than that nothing too exciting....... Except.....
The kids went on a fieldtrip to the zoo this last week, It was their first fieldtrip without me and I was really struggling letting go. I texted with their teacher most of the afternoon, and got a couple pictures.....
My girl cracks me up, they were going to be playing in the water so they had us put the kids bathing suits on under their clothes. We had a HUGE speech on how she was only allowed to take off the clothes when they were in the water, there would be NO running around the zoo in nothing but her bathing suit..... That lasted all of 30 minutes. She had her clothes off before they ever got to the water and kept them off most of the day. Her teacher kept telling her to put her clothes back on and that would last all of 2 or 3 minutes..... LOL.... She said "I was uncomfortable I had to take them off" They finally gave up and figured at least her suit was modest. Silly girl, what am I going to do with her. As for Sean he had fun, but I had him wear a pair of Lexis crocks that he had never worn before and he got blisters after a little while, he and his whiney self got all the attention he desired and the special TLC from 2 of his favorite teachers. He was in Heaven. They came back filthy and exhausted, but it was a good day for them. And mommy learned to let go and everything turns out fine.
